Please read through below policies carefully prior to your purchase.
Questions/Comments/Inquiries:
OverDrive, under our promise of serving “Cool Japan”, we will bring “Japan Goods” to you in any category. If you wish to purchase Japan Goods that are not on our Web Mall, or if you are looking for special Japan Goods, please e-mail us from the “Contact Us” button at Web Mall Home, and we will try our best to meet your requests. Customer feedback is very important to us and OverDrive will strive for No1 in customer satisfaction. Please kindly note that personal reply to the general comments will not be made.
Shopping Precautions (please read carefully before making your purchase):
In the web shopping, the customers will be choosing the products based on the pictures and description he/she sees on the monitor. The actual goods you receive could have small difference in appearance. If a product description is lacking or does not answer a question you have about an item, please contact us. We are always happy to answer any questions you have about products prior to your placing an order. Because of this, please understand that we will not pay for a return of merchandise simply because it was not what you expected. Ask us before you order if you have any doubts about what you’re buying. We will do our best to help you. The customers can contact OverDrive from “Contact Us” button at Web Mall Home.
OverDrive Web Mall currently serves 90 countries worldwide, however, we do not accept orders from free e-mail addresses. There could be cases where order acceptance may have to be confirmed at dscretion of company management. Our service is currently available only in English, the other languages will be implemented when ready. The delivery lead time may differ in different destinations.

If you wish to separate the credit card settlement by products, please separate the payment individually. Same condition would apply if you wish to make separate shipments.
At the completion of your ordering, two e-mails will be sent to your registered address. One will be from your payment settlement company, and the other will be from OverDrive. This e-mail from OverDrive will be your confirmation of order completion. Please keep your attention to the e-mails you will be receiving and save them until you receive your merchandise. Customer questions and comments should be made through “Contact Us” button on the Web Mall Home. Your e-mails are welcome 24 hours a day, however, OverDrive will be able to check them only during our office hours (Monday – Friday 10Am – 6PM Japan Standard Time, excluding Japanese national holidays and weekends)
Privacy Policy:
OverDrive knows how you care about your personal information and it is very important to us. Except for cases where we comply with a lawful demand for information by law enforcement authorities, or attempt to secure relief in cases of customer fraud (such as credit card “chargebacks”), OverDrive will never disclose any personal information you provide us (such as your name, shipping address, e-mail address or telephone number), or any information related to your purchase history with us to any third parties.
Payment:
OverDrive Web Mall will accept credit cards payment. VISA and MasterCard are accepted for the payments through WorldPay. Currency choices will be given, the customers can choose from US Dollar, Euro, and Hong Kong Dollar. We also have PayPal available. Your credit card company’s payment terms and conditions will apply, therefore under no circumstances, OverDrive will not be able to control your payment with your credit card company.
Please note currently our system will charge your credit card as soon as the order is placed and not when the item ships..
Your credit card receipt and Packing List on the shipment box you will receive will be the official receipts of your purchase.
Returns and Refunds:
Should you have requests in returns or refunds, please contact us first from “Contact Us” button at Web Mall Home. Refund will be given at the discretion of the company management. Customers may return the goods in following conditions if you make us contact within 15(fifteen) days after you receive the product:
A. If the shipping was mistaken by OverDrive or the product was damaged during shipping – OverDrive will compensate return shipping cost only if you ship the item as directed by us. All claims for returns or refunds due to shipping damage or manufacturing defects must be made within 15(fifteen) days of its delivery to you.
B. In a case where customer needs to ask for return/refund of an item: Refund will be given at the discretion of the company management. When OverDrive announces the acceptance of return or refund, the merchandise is returned in absolutely NEW CONDITION, just as it was shipped to the Customer initially. This means all of the original packaging, and/or any other materials, parts, etc. included in the original shipment from OverDrive. Blister packed products or sealed products, and capsule packed items must be unopened and should have no damages or scratches to the package. Please be noted that unless the return is necessary because of a shipping error or defective merchandise, the cost of shipping the item(s) back to Japan is customer’s responsibility.
Please remember that in any case, the customer should contact OverDrive first to consult for the procedure.
Exchanges:
If you received a faulty product or products with initial failure, or anything that have clear reason to exchange it for the same item, OverDrive will immediately ship the substitution to you. Please contact us first for the procedure. OverDrive would like to ask the customers to kindly return the item and its packing list included with the airway bill on delivered box to us. You will be charged for its full amount if OverDrive does not receive the failure product back.
Refunds:
Refund will be given at the discretion of the company management. Once you receive OverDrive confirmation of us accepting to give the refund, send the item(s) back to OverDrive with the packing list, which comes with airway bill on delivered package. As soon as returned item(s) is confirmed, refund will be processed. The refund will be made to your credit card account for the goods paid with WorldPay’s service. OverDrive will inform you the procedure for PayPal paid items.
Cancellations:
Because OverDrive will prepare your shipping immediately after we receive your order so that you can receive the goods quickly, initial policy is that we do not accept order cancellations. However, should cancellation is necessary, please contact us first through “Contact Us” button at Web Mall Home and we will inform you at the time whether cancellation is possible or not. To be able to cancel your order, the merchandise should not have left OverDrive for shipping. To avoid cancelling items you have chosen to purchase, we strongly ask you to check the item(s) carefully on the Web Mall, and if you need more product description or have any questions about the product you are to purchase, please contact us prior to your purchase. OverDrive will be happy to help you.
Please note in case of a cancelation all transaction fees that occur during the refund of the payment must be paid by the customer. We will contact the customer with the information on the transaction fees before the refund is done. Please take this into consideration before making a order.
OverDrive will not pay for a return of merchandise, refund, or accept exchange simply because it was not what you expected.
Shipment:
All products ordered through the OverDrive Web Mall are shipped via EMS unless otherwise requested by the Customer. Please contact us through “Contact Us” button at Web Mall Home in case if you request shipping method other than EMS. We will do our best to match your request upon discussion. All Shipping expenses are the responsibility of the customer and should be considered when planning the cost of your order.
Any cost due to customs or any other factors should be paid by the Customer.
OverDrive occasionally offers campaign which with over a certain amount of purchase your shipping will be free of charge. Details will be announced in the Web Mall. Please check daily and don’t miss that chance!
Please allow approximately 5 (five) business days for the estimated time of delivery after ship out from Japan. (All the necessary verification on your payment needs to be confirmed before we ship out the merchandise) If you do not receive the goods after 10 (ten) working days after your order, please contact us. Please copy&paste the order confirmation message which OverDrive send you to your registered account. We will check the status and process the re-shipping to you accordingly. The goods shipped from OverDrive will include Packing List with the airway bill on the shipping box. Along with the order confirmation e-mail, please keep this as your receipt and it is the official document to refer which certifies your purchase of the merchandise from OverDrive.
Pre-Order Items:

Please read below carefully before placing your order to the pre-order items.
Customers are asked to avoid processing check-out all at once for mixed orders, such as:
A. pre-order items with in-stock items,
B. when pre-order items vary in their release dates
The system allows this to be done, however, in such a case the goods will not be shipped out until all pre-order items comes in. Also, customers who wish to make separate shipment are kindly asked to be noted that individual shipping cost will apply to each shipment.
Disputes:
OverDrive is committed to customer service and will promptly address any customer claims of shipping errors, damage, defects, missing items, etc. if we are contacted within 15 days of delivery. Missing shipments are also replaced or refunds issued if our designated delivery period passes without your taking delivery of your order. Under no circumstances should customer ever contact his/her credit card company or PayPal to dispute charges from OverDrive, particularly without contacting us first. It is important for the Customers to inform us a problem has occurred. As such, not only will we vigorously contest any credit card “chargebacks” (refusals to pay) filed by customers or complaints with PayPal, but such customers may be blacklisted from using our service, meaning we will accept no further orders from them, ever. We also share information about blacklisted customers with other online merchants offering similar merchandise. OverDrive will take legal measure against card fraud, payment fraud and illegitimate reversal of payment. Any legal dispute arose within OverDrive Web Mall will be carried out and subject to Law of Tokyo, Japan.
