After a 1 year hiatus due to the now infamous escalater accident at Tokyo Big Sight last year WonderFest has returned .  The world’s largest amature garage kit show it was held this year at Makuhari Messa about a hour by train from center Tokyo.  Considered the largest Wonderfest ever 3 halls were used this is how it looks a hour before it starts.

Some information on these events and the items that are sold by amature dealers at them for those interested.

Many or most of the item that can be seen here were made by a amateur dealer and will be sold only at Wonderfest. This is due to the special one day licences system used at these event and are by no fault of the people who made the items. As for the small production numbers as most licences holders will allow only a certain amount of one item to be produced and sold at each event in most cases the amount being sold will be the maximum amount allowed. Please take these things into consideration before complaining about the items and the numbers that are produced of each item.

As there are way too many items to post at once we will split  the post into 2 to 3 post that we will be putting up over this week ,

First up will be the mecha section.
One point of interest was the fact that  Tastunoko for the first time in a long while approved of  one day licenses for Mospeada items.  A few item such as the saddlebags for the Beagle Ride Armors as well as a Invid  Iigaa were produced for the show. Both apparently sold out pretty quickly.

First we pick up the items that were on display at the Yamato booth. There were many item such as the blue Patlabor Ingram USA Ver on display for the first time.  A Rot Folker Macross Motercycle Helmet suitable for use on the road was on  display for the first time but was a no picture allowed item.
