The Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star) series will be celebrating it’s 25th annivirsity since the start of the original manga series vbegin running on Shonen Jump. One of the icons of 80′s Japanese culture it is still going strong mostly due to the hugh popularity of the Hokuto no Ken Pachinko machine series but also thanks to a prequel manga series called “Fist of the Blue Sky” that is currently being published. As one of the many projects to celebrate the 25 anniversity 7 artists have been chosen to design there own version of the characters and release them in many shapes and sizes. The artist chosen to design the figure we will introduce is Hirose Soushi a artist known for his work on Card Games and cover art for Light Novels. Designed to have a much darker look then the original it will feature Kenishiro hunting the down the “Hollows” who are evil dark versions of the villians. Lets take a look first at the Hollows Hunter Kenshiro Soushi Hirose ver Comes in at 240mm it features a Kenshiro that will be very different from the original but is appealing in it’s own way. Will come very detailed all the way down to the wrinkels in his jacket. Posed in his trademark fighting pose of the deadly Hokuto Shiken that can kill with one punch. Death Skull Jagi Soushi Hirose ver. The evil Jagi who is the step-brother of Kanshiro is also known for his popularity among the hard core fans. For this figure he has been transformed into a skeleton. Even further from the original design then Kenshiro but in Jagi’s case this change works for the better in some ways. Will of course come with his trusty shotgun this figure will make you want to say his trademark phrase “Say My Name” .
