The last large post on the Wonderfest will be split into two parts one focusing on the Kaiju section of the Wonderfest while the second part will be on the weird stuff that are always there.

Kaiju Section

 There is always a large group of people at Wonderfest with booths featuring Kaiju and monster stuff.  The old style Godzila, which is called Showa Godzila in Japan,  still has a huge following overhere which accounts for the many new old style Godzila items that are still being released constantly.  There are even a few small companies that specialize in the making of the old style Soft Vinyl Kaiju figures.   A post will be done later for the booth of the guy who made that huge Godzila hand puppet that was seen at ou booth at AX in July.

Let’s take a look at what everyone brought to the show.  Not only is there Godzila items there a bunch of stuff from the old Tokusatu series as well.

The next section is the fun part of the show  the weird stuff you can always find at Wonderfest.  Though you may find them hard to understand they usually sell fairly well and most sell out before noon. You’ll see a lot of original characters and strange looking monsters that some person may have dreamed up when they were?drunk.

The figures that really caught my eye was these 3 Killer Yakuza Figures.  The first one is called “Doboku Satujinken” meaning something like Construction Worker Killer Kenpo-Ka.  The old man in the second picture is called “Fundoshi Ireba Cyborg” meaning G-string dentured cyborg.  The third which was the most popular is the killer assasin nurse with all those knives held between her fingers.  These crazy stuff were all sold out before noon.

 The rest of the pictures will have stuff like Samus from the Matroid TV game and Strider from the Strider Hiryu games as well as much much more funny and strange stuff.  Personally I think this is the stuff that captures the spirit of the Wonderfest best which is to have fun and enjoy yourself.  Anyways enjoy the pictures.
